Kathleen D. Ryan, Ph.D.. |
My primary contribution to the school of medicine is in serving as associate director of the Office of Medical Education. In this capacity, I direct and coordinate the curriculum, primarily for course work in the first two years of medical school. I serve as Director for the six courses in the Fundamentals of Basic Science Block and in the co-director role for the eleven courses comprising the Organ Systems Pathophysiology Block. In addition, I participate in teaching in five of the courses that run in the first two years.
I am also a member of the Magee-Womens Research Institute, serving that group as faculty supervisor of the Vivarium and as chair of the MWRI Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee.
