Special Seminar - Pitt and CMU professors to deliver a four-part talk on the 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry
"Super-Resolution Microscopy is Dynamite: Its Beginning, Present, and Future"
Pitt faculty members Simon Watkins, Meir Aridor, and Adam Kwiatkowski; and Carnegie Mellon University faculty member Manoj Puthenveedu will discuss the 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry at 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, in S100 Biomedical Science Tower.
Their four-part talk, "Super-Resolution Microscopy is Dynamite: Its Beginning, Present, and Future," will illuminate the role and significance of the prize-winning work of Nobel Laureates Eric Betzig, Stefan W. Hell, and William E. Moerner and the development of super-resolution microscopy.
